Our mentorship initiative was piloted in Spring 2025 with the intention of providing the underclassmen in the neuroscience major with community-oriented support and career-driven direction, while also allowing for upperclassmen members to demonstrate and strengthen their leadership and communication skills.
- Undergraduate neuroscience majors can apply to become Mentees at the beginning of each semester and will be matched with Mentors (Nu Rho Psi Members) based on similar professional track/career goals.
- In addition to general academic, professional, & personal peer guidance, the teams will be working on a selection of Objectives throughout their time together. The aim is to ensure a tangible outcome and newly developed skillset by the end of the semester. After selecting from the list, Mentees will receive advice and aid from their Mentors as they experience a period of growth and skill-building.
